I was a bit surprised at how long the Reinforced Coat of Kingstead is on this toon. I had forgotten that coat-type cosmetics are typically more lengthy on male elf and human characters and shorter on the females. It's been a while since I've played any of my alts, and the length of the coat caught me off guard, forcing me to redesign the outfit a bit to suit my Man better. I really like the end result, which is a classic adventurer look that is both rugged and noble.
Enjoy the Outfit!
- Head: Traveller's Hood, dyed Walnut (Lotro Store)
- Shoulders: Padded Mantle of the Dunland Soothsayer, dyed Walnut (Dunland Quest Reward)
- Back: Silky Cloak of Salvation, dyed Walnut (Dunland Quest Reward)
- Chest: Reinforced Coat of Kingstead, dyed Walnut (Helm's Deep Quest Reward)
- Hands: Reinforced Gloves of Kingstead, default dye (Helm's Deep Quest Reward)
- Boots: Ceremonial Boots of the Learned, default dye (Skirmish Camp Cosmetic Vendor)
The Westemnet landscape/skirmish cosmetics are great pieces to use, though I sometimes wish that the robes were just as long a females as they are on males. I can see so much potential in outfitting if that were to happen!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love the nomadic look you've got going here between that robe and Dunland pieces, which are primarily geared toward the Race of Men. It's tough finding other clothes that work well with that cloak and I have to say you've done a superb job :)
thank you, Nathien :) yes, I too wish the length of coat cosmetics stayed the same on our female toons, as well as their male counterparts, but that is unfortunately par for the course in mmo's these days. At least Lotro has the sense to keep them modest and practical, as well as beautiful.
Deleteand yeah, I agree that the Dunland pieces go well with the recent Rohan gear . . . I think from here to Gondor, all we'll be seeing now is human-oriented armor (not that it doesn't look fantastic on the other races).
