Advance Upon Me, Thy Brethren!

"Come forth, ye knave! Have ye not the courage to face me upon the glorious field of battle?
Ready thy strength and steed, and prepare to defend thy honor!"

I caved in this week and bought the Steed of the Captain. What can I say? The tack looks heroic on my black-dyed war-steed and there was a sale in the Lotro store, so I took the opportunity to snag a few more color packs while they were on discount. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite class steeds.

The golden eagle (or phoenix?) on the steed's caparison matched perfectly with the Scowling Helm which also has a gold eagle embellishment decorating it. The new Rohan craftable gear has also added quite extensively to my wardrobe - just look at those beautiful boots! The only problems I have with it is that the Rohirrim seem to prefer leather to shiny silver, so a lot of the armor pieces are primarily brown in the undyable regions. Other than that, the Rohirrim gear is going to keep me busy for a long while!

Enjoy the outfit!

  2. Oooh, smart choice with that helm! Love the contrast of the black steed versus red & steel tack and barding.
